Basic Life Support (BLS – CPR/AED) The AHA’s BLS course trains healthcare professionals to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. Course includes resuscitation of Adults, Children, and Infants.
The BLS Provider Card certifies the professionals for two years. If you need to renew your current card, please register for our BLS Renewal Course
Need to obtain a First Aid certification while attending BLS? Add on First Aid to your class today! First Aid will be in 2 parts: Part 1 online, Part 2 is completed in our Instructor-led skills station (approximately 30-minute skills session). Once you register for the course, we will send you your online access code. Please bring First-Aid certificate of completion to your BLS class with you.
HealthPro’s BLS for the Healthcare Provider course in Lake Forest, Orange County, California teaches those seeking professional level training the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. This course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, and use an AED in a timely and effective manner. These skills include ventilation with a barrier-device & a bag-mask device, use of an AED on adults / children, and relief of foreign body airway obstruction in responsive and non responsive victims. Written and skills evaluation are required for course completion.
